The following is a list of events effecting El Kadsreian television in 2000. Events listed include television show debuts, finales, cancellations, and channel launches, closures and rebrandings, as well as information about controversies and carriage disputes.
September 3-29 - El TV Kadsre channels ran the Adopt a Dot promotion where after shopping at Chijimatsu Safeway, eating at McDonald's or buying Coca-Cola products, one could acquire a dot that they could stick on their TV screen. The idea had the viewer sticking the dot over a watermarked Adopt a Dot logo on the TV screen for the duration of the show and then over the time the dot was on their screen it would have “activated”, then the viewer would send it away to go into a draw to win prizes, including one of several new Chevrolet vehicles and a Apple iMac G3. The whole idea was to get people to watch certain shows on El TV Kadsre channels where the Adopt a Dot logo was displayed.
