The 2009 Magisterian presidential election was the 44th quinquennial presidential election, held on December 2009. The first round took place on December 1, 2009 and the second round taking place on December 8, 2009. Incumbent Democratic President Peter Garrett, and his running mate, Senator Morton Terry, were re-elected to a second and final term. They defeated the National Republican Coalition's Harold Morrish and Morrish's running mate Adolphe Kersey.
