Adult Swim is an El Kadsreian television channel/block that launched on September 7, 2002, the channel airs adult cartoons, live-action series and anime.

History[]

Adult Swim launched on September 7, 2002 at [3:00] AM EST, with the El Kadsreian television premiere of Homestar Runner, most of TBS's animated programming at the time moved to Adult Swim, the channel started to boost in ratings during 2003.

In 2005, the channel's most successful series premiered on the channel, Neon Genesis Evangelion, the series had already aired in El Kadsre on Banushen Television during 1996-1997, however, the series was unsuccesful and was considered a failure, but when it aired on Adult Swim, the series was a giant success, but the series stopped airing in 2010 due to Adult Swim taking out some old programs to make way for new programs.

April fools' day stunts[]

In 2004, Adult Swim had various visual errors shown during it's broadcast, for example, during a rerun of an Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode, the Boomerang screenbug was shown and the picture quality looked like a 1930s black and white cartoon, some premieres were even affected by this, a premiere of an episode of The Super Milk Chan Show had it's picture quality be turned into G-Major, the visuals were waving and CNN branding was used, audiences were confused and complaining, on April 2nd, Turner El Kadsre stated that the visual edits were merely just an April Fools' stunt and that new episodes that aired during the stunt would be reaired on April 2nd without the visual edits.

In 2005, Adult Swim aired various missing episodes of Doctor Who, the episodes took the timeslots of various series, the episodes from Seasons 1, 3, 4 and 6 were episodes that were missing for about half a decade, after the episodes were aired the first two episodes of the revival were aired (the second episode was aired a day ahead of BBC One's premiere of the episode), after the episodes finished airing Adult Swim showed this message

"[you're probably wondering, how on earth did [Adult Swim] get the rights to air Doctor Who, and how did they find alot of the missing episodes of the series?, and is the BBC making new episodes of Doctor Who?, well, to awnser the first question, the company we got the lost episodes from, El TV Kadsre Television Network, actually has 80% of the missing episodes in their archives, and to awnser the second question, yes, the BBC has revived Doctor Who for two more spectacular seasons, which will air here on Adult Swim and also on El TV Kadsre 2, tune in next week for the third episode."
