Alatu is an El Kadsreian multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products. It is globally known for its Web portal, search engine Alatu Search, and related services, including Alatu Directory, Alatu Mail, Alatu News, Alatu Finance, Alatu Groups, Alatu Answers, advertising, online mapping, video sharing, fantasy sports and its social media website. It was one of the most popular search engine sites before Yahoo! and Google was formed in 1995 and 1998 respectively.
Alatu was formed in the Vlokozuian territory of Schaalberg by John Esqueza and Hiro Seneritso in 1983 as Scalcable, a small cable provider - but soon started beta testing a internet service almost five months after starting to offer cable services. Scalcable was later renamed to Alatu in 1984 and later launched its search engine in the Theorynet servers in 1985.
Alatu has made video games since 1987. They started out making games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and were the only licensed NES publisher to make their own cartridges after Approach Software convinced Nintendo to let Alatu avoid paying for the actual grey NES cartridges and instead make their own NES cartridges. Alatu's cartridges are imprinted with the company's logo and are usually neon blue.
