Andy Bödecker (born May 14, 1956) is a Québécois director & producer. He was born in Klagenfurt, Austria and came with his family to Montreal in 1959. In 1980, he began working as a director for the National Film Board of Canada but left in 1984 for the private sector, where he directed over 700 commercials in Canada and the United States. In the 1990s, he directed episodes of various Québécois and Anglophone TV shows.
He is a member of DGC, AQTIS, DGA and IATSE and is also is a long-time member of the German Society of Montreal.
