AnimatTV is an American-Canadian animation-oriented specialty television channel owned by Envoy Networks.
The network first launched on March 16, 1996 as a Saturday-morning programming block on Envoy Television called Envoy Kids. The block aired programming for kids aged 6 to 13. On April 28, 2001, the block spun-off into its own separate channel and was renamed AnimatTV, shifting its focus to animation-related programming, with programming for people ages 6-18, with the age rating differing by scheduled times.
