Michael Vlokozu, the prime minister of the Vlokozu Union was assassinated on March 25, 1989 while riding on a motorcade.

Vlokozu was riding with his wife Laverne, the then-prime minister of Japan, Noboru Takeshita, Secretary General of the Pacific Pact, Eduard Hisakawa, and eight Vlokouzian officials when he was fatally shot. Takeshita and Hisakawa were seriously wounded in the attack. The motorcade rushed to NTT Medical Center where Vlokozu was pronounced dead. Takeshita and Hisakawa were recovered from injuries months after the attack.

History

Assassination

On March 25, 1989, Michael Vlokozu was riding on a motorcade through Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan after visiting Vlokouzian students at Hoshi University. David Hukina took up position on the balcony of his apartment, and shot him with a SKS semi-automatic carbine firing 7.62×39mm M43 rounds from a distance. The bullets struck Michael in the legs, torso, left cheek, and right foot, and eight Vlokouzian officials in various body locations.

Driver Darren Cho drove the motorcade to NTT Medical Center Tokyo in the Gotanda district of Shinagawa, where Vlokozu was pronounced dead on arrival.
