1997 bombing

On August 21, 1997, a self-made bomb containing one kilogram (two pounds) of TNT was detonated at a BI-LO store in El Kadsre City often frequented by foreigners. The attack killed 7 and wounded 25 others. The attack was perpetrated by a militant from Gyönyörű Földünk, and over the course of the next year, eight accomplices associated with the alleged bomber were arrested.
