Bandai Namco Virisix is a Japanese-El Kadsreian video game developer and publisher, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and Edogawa, Tokyo. The company specializes in developing or distributing video games, as well as publishing OVAs and films. However, this division is mainly used as a label owned by Drillimation Systems for distribution of games or anime with more mature themes and material published under the brand is aimed primarily towards teens and adults, rather than the media primarily distributed under the family-friendly Drillimation brand.
Established in 2006 as Virisix, Virisix was founded by former Drillimation employees Mitsutoshi Sakurai and Koichi Nakamura. The studio acted as a division of Drillimation, releasing the majority of games rated Mature by the ESRB under the band.
