Banipal Witt: The World of Cats is a multimedia enhanced CD developed by BUGS Programmers AB and based on the 1999 anime film dub of the same name, which was in turn based on the 1995 anime feature Catnapped!. It was released in some countries during late 1999 well into early 2000.

When inserted into a computer, the data portion of the CD takes the viewer to an overworld resembling a room inside a Banipal Witt residence, with various items granting the player access to things when clicked on with the mouse.

- A short high score-driven platformer in which the player (as Tony-O and ChuChu) infiltrate Bubblinda's castle
- A minigame in which the player must click on the correct ingredients to put into Master Sandada's cauldron
- Demos of Banipal Witt Activity Center and Chaos in the World of Cats
- A wallpaper based on the film's poster
- A techno remix of "Yume e No Tobira" by Mayumi Iizuka and 1-2 pop songs from the film's soundtrack corresponding to release in a different country (also accessible on a CD player)

Release[]
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the CD was released through a promotion with Ferrero, with the disc available either free inside specially-packaged Kinder chocolates or through mail-order with 3 DM and tokens collected from inside the lids of Nutella jars.
In the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, it was part of a promotion by Kellogg's in autumn 1999 with the same company distributing the CD in Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Iceland and Norway.
In Denmark and Sweden, the demo disc was included free in translated copies of the film's storybook adaptation published by Egmont.
In Poland, it was initially available at Pizza Hut restaurants and in a similar fashion to the German promotion with Kinder/Nutella.
In Portugal, the disc was distributed by Comportu SA in conjunction with Nestlé through cereals, particularly inside boxes of EstranhOs (the local release of Joe's Real Weird-Os).
