Becky Withers (born June 12, 1985) is a Ethiopian-born Dutch singer.


Becky was born on June 12, 1985 in Mekelle, Ethiopia and was adopted and given the name Ria Jorien de Bisschop at the age of 3 by a white Dutch couple from The Hague. She originates from Naaldwijk in South Holland.

In 1998, she was discovered by a producer in an arcade whilst visiting Delfzijl in Groningen, and later became signed to EMI.

In 2001-2004, she performed songs for several PBS Kids Movies, and appeared in interstitial segments on PBS' PBS Kids strand.

She retired from singing in 2006 to focus on her adoptive brother's motocross team. She came out of retirement in 2017 to perform several of her songs at the PBS Kids: Singing About the Early Days concert at Pledgecon.
