Cairo Bekko Tyrus (born July 23, 1988), better known by his stage name Bekko (formerly Lil' Bekko), is an American rapper and actor. Tyrus gained fame as a rapper in the early 2000s after signing with 1 Records, then owned by his father, DJ Mala. As Lil' Bekko, he released his first album, First of Bekko, in 2001 at age 12, which was followed by Playground in 2002. In 2003, Bekko released his third album Bekko's Life.Bekko made his debut as the lead role in Playground Side.

Tyrus was born in Mimai, Florida. He is the son of record producer and rapper DJ Mala and her boyfriend Melanie T.
