The Belgian Indies (French: Indes belges; Dutch: Belgisch-Indië) was a Belgian colony with territory mostly comprising the modern state of Barokia, which was granted formal independence on May 1, 1959.

Before confederation in 1909, the Belgian territories in Southeast Asia were not placed under a single unified administration, with the exception of the Eastern Royal Territories, which were under direct control of the monarchy of Belgium. The Belgian Indies was Belgium's second-largest territory behind the Belgian Congo, and a profitable territory, becoming the world's largest producer of gemstones. During the Second World War, Japan occupied part of the Belgian Indies.

In 1959, as the result of a widespread and increasingly radical pro-independence movement, the Belgian Indies and Dominion of Barokia jointly achieved independence, forming the modern country of Barokia.
