History[]

BerriesTV first launched in Nishiyama on September 12, 2003 and was a result of an agreement between Owari TV Company and Nagata Television. In that same year, BerriesTV had two headquarter buildings built in Nishiyama - one in Iruma and one in Izumi. As of 2017, the channel has about 10 headquarter buildings all over the country. The first program to air on the network was Airline Adventures, and its first presenters were Kanna Azumaya and Zenzo Beppu, both of which retired in 2008 to pursue other jobs.

In 2006, BerriesTV revealed a new set of logos, which were used until 2013. In 2008, a new wave of presenters were hired. They were known as Junko Akagi, Yoshimoto Dobashi and Makiko Ariyoshi. Junko and Yoshimoto retired in 2013, while Makiko etired a year later. In 2014, a newer and current wave of presenters were introduced.
