The NES version of Bionicle: Inika Assault is a port of the computer game of the same name converted by Introware from the Commodore 64 version, and it was published by Seymour Games and it was advertised and released in 1988 only in El Kadsreian Islands, but it was cancelled before it was released, because developers said it received copyright issues from El TV Kadsre. Only four prototype cartridges exist.

The gameplay is the same as the Commodore 64 version, but the graphics are different to fit the NES' resolution and it was programmed using an Acorn Electron.
