Bruno Leon Vidal

Bruno Leon Vidal (b. 30th September 1955) is a French-German actor and comedian who currently resides in Wolfsburg, Germany. He is perhaps best known for his wide range of voicing roles in Kuboian animated television series.

Early life and career[]

Vidal was born on 30th September 1955 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France to a French father and a German mother. His father was a journalist. He studied art and theatre in Paris, and worked as a mime for several years in the 1970s before pursuing to become an actor.

Vidal struggled to find work in France because he felt he was unfitted for any roles given to him. He eventually turned to voice acting, and went to Gutstone, East Kuboia to audition for a role for the Incredible World of Riddles franchise in the summer of 1988. According to Vidal himself, he ended up getting hyperactive and "totally broke out of character" when trying to make a voice for Yowie. Although he ultimately didn't get the role, he was eventually cast as multiple other characters, most notably Flowral and Mr. Nether. Vidal said he enjoyed his job so much that he agreed to continue doing it for free if Harlow Morrison did not have enough money to continue paying him, although he later said he was still paid for all of his roles.

Outside of Kuboian animation and some obscure French films of the 1970s and 1980s, Vidal has very few acting credits. He claims that, despite having a degree and a lot of experience in acting, he still has difficulty finding work because people associate him with his roles in the Incredible World of Riddles franchise.

Vidal struggled with morbid obesity throughout the 1990s and 2000s, claiming his career encouraged him to overindulge. At one point, he was eating approximtaley eight takeaways a week and eight thousand calories a day. In 2017, he was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and weighed 400 pounds.

On 2nd September 2018, Vidal was rushed to hospital after suffering from a stroke. Shortly after leaving hospital with Oliver Jones, who rushed to Germany to accompany Vidal, Vidal opted to lose weight. In October 2019, he unveiled his weight loss efforts online, which included eating a balanced, low-carb diet, and going to the gym five days a week. The coronavirus pandemic in 2020 caused a setback for Vidal, who regained some weight during lockdown, although he was able to eventually lose it again. By the autumn of 2022, he had dropped down to 190 pounds.
