CBC2 is a public television channel in Conlandia owned by Conlandia Broadcasting Corporation.

CBC2 airs a narrower variety of programs as compared to CBC, focusing more on alternative, educational and cultural programming.

History

CBC2 was launched on September 19, 1966. Their first programme was a performance by the Diamond City Symphony Orchestra. Before that, they provided test transmissions to make sure the colour picture would work on newer colour TVs. These were mainly rebroadcasts of CBC's programming in the evening hours.

In 1974, CBC2 introduced a new set of idents.

On December 17, 1991 (Cogeria's bicentennial), CBC2 introduced a new set of idents and the current logo as shown today.

On November 5, 2003, to coincide with the introduction of digital television in Cogeria, CBC2 introduced their current set of idents used today.
