CBN is a Sakarian public televison broadcaster. It is one of three public broadcasters in the country, along with the Sakarian Broadcasting Service and Retese. However, unlike SBS and Retese, it receives no public funding and is funded entirely by its commercial activities, including advertising, similar to the model of Channel 4 in the UK.
CBN is the third highest rated free-to-air television network in the country, behind TV5 and TVO, but ahead of SBS, Central, and TV4.
