The Convention and Expo for Web Series (CEWS; /ˈsuz/) is a series of annual Internet conventions taking place in Tampa, Florida. The conventions are wholly owned by MediaCons.

CEWS was originally made to focus on web television, but it also focuses on Internet animations and websites.

History

CEWS 2012

CEWS 2012 was held from June 30 to July 2, 2012 at the Sunrise Convention Center. About 820 people attended the convention on Day 1, 813 on Day 2, and 849 on Day 3.

CEWS 2013

CEWS 2013 lasted from June 28 to June 30, 2013. The convention was also held at the SCC. An estimation of 933 people attended on Day 1, around 732 people attended on Day 2, and about 795 people were present for Day 3.

CEWS 2014

CEWS 2014 lasted from July 1 to July 3 at the Metro Convention Center, with notable panels including Moonrise Toons, The Funky Show, Flapp, and Maxshow, all of whom were present for all three days.

On Day 1, panels for Chrome.Box, Saturday Entertainment, Abashaw, and Nameless Animation were also present. 843 people attended.

Day 2 panels include MYKROSKOPE, Diary Studio, Shack Pictures, Furious Animation, Sketchworld, and the returning Nameless Animation. 1,322 people attended.

Day 3 panels include Dungeon Luck, Zifa: Apocalypse, Yaney, and the returning Sketchworld panel. 833 people attended.
