Carlos Maximiliano Rosendo Perlman (born 28 May 1957) is a Magisterian lawyer and politician serving as the current chairperson of the National Republican Coalition since 1995. A member of the National Parliament, he previously served as Minister of Law and Justice from 2004 to 2009. From 2010 to 2013, he also chaired the Republican Policy Research Council. Ideologically, he identifies himself as a liberal and conservative on the Magisterian centre-right.
Perlman was born and raised in Albine-Zénaïde, where he attended the selective state Froshire Grammar Institute. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the National People's University in 1981. Perlman entered politics in 1982, and was elected to the National Parliament in 1994 as a member of the NRC.
