In February 1996, the U.S. sitcom import Caroline in the City began airing on Star TV with a one-day repeat airing on Banushen Television via its Comedy Night in El Kadsre section. In 1999, after the finale, the show was replaced in the Star TV section by Dweezil & Ahmet Zappa-led U.S. import Happy Hour, while the show was replaced in the Banushen Television section by Movie Stars. In early 1999, both Star TV and Banushen Television knocked the show to different time slots, with The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer taking the place of the show in its Comedy Night in El Kadsre slot. Banushen's premiere of the show was debuted the exact same day the El Kadsreian premiere of the Kirk Cameron sitcom Kirk debuted. Before the El Kadsreian premiere, the lead character made its El Kadsrieian TV debut on the Friends episode "The One with the Baby on the Bus", aired in El Kadsre on December 3, 1995 on Banushen Television.
