Christian Karl Sollander (born July 22, 1961) is a Swedo-Finnish singer-songwriter and musician best known for being a founding member of the electronica act Twelve.
Biography[]
Christian was born in Mariehamn, Åland Islands. His younger sister is theater actress/dancer Greta Sollander.
Early in his career, Christian had performed in a The Cars tribute band named Auto.
In 1988, Christian and Nils Åkerström formed a rap/Hi-NRG crossover duo named Purse. Purse was active for half a year in Mariehamn before they met Gert Risberg and chose to merge Purse and Gert's solo act into a new band, Twelve. Stockholm-based rapper Captain V joined in 1991.
