Chventera (Chventerice: Ĥventer), officially the Republic of Chventera (Bevnamıkug e Ĥventer) is a small country in Makenesia. It is located in the island of Croven and is bordered by Jostionia to the west and Zudaretia to the north. It also shares maritime borders with several other countries in the Harati Gulf, including Varromenepi.
Chventera gained independence following the collapse of the Crovene Kingdom in 1970.
History[]
After the Crovene Kingdom collapsed on February 10, 1970, Chventera gained independence as a republic following a referendum. The Chventerice Parliament, its head of legislature was created on April 1970 and its first parliamentary elections were held in May of the same year.
