Connor Richard Ellis (May 7th, 1955 - April 26, 1999) was an Engarian newsreader, journalist, and television presenter. He was known for presenting the RTL-TVI Newshour since the channel's launch. Alongside presenting the RTL-TVI Newshour, he has also presented the Wiki TV Evening News between 1989 and 1994 when he became a foreign correspondent and later presented the breakfast program, RTL Breakfast.
On April 26th, 1999, Connor died after suffering a car accident while he was on his way home.
Connor was born in Komapest in 1955. 3 years after he was born, his mother walked out and his father later raised him. He educated at the Komapest university and was later graduated.
In 1989, Connor became one of the presenters of the Wiki TV Evening News, where he presented the program until 1994 when Josh Stewart replaced him. In 1995, Connor was named as the foreign correspondent, but he later quit working for the Wiki TV Evening News in 1997 to become the main newsreader for the RTL-TVI Newshour when the channel launched.
He also presented RTL Breakfast, a breakfast program. He presented the program up until his death in 1999.
On April 26th, 1999, at 9:35 am CET, after finishing presenting RTL Breakfast for the day, Connor suffered a car crash after colliding with another car. He suffered critical injuries and he was later rushed to the hospital. However, once he reached the hospital, he was pronounced dead.
RTL-TVI later confirmed that they will change their schedules in order to focus on the rolling coverage of Connor's death.
