Crispy's Stories (originally titled Hakohako-xebi, the Magical Helper in Yorakusa) is a Yorakunese-American animated series produced by Yorakunese animation company JourneyStar Animation and American food company General Foods. The series is based on the 1987 incarnation of the General Foods cereal Crispy Critters.
Plot[]
The series revolves around a critter named Crispy, who is the bandleader of the world's first all-animal band, The Indubitably Animals Band, and the adventures he goes on. Episodes generally used one of five formats:
- Using a magical item called the Helpful Bracelet, Crispy and his band teleport to help a child learn a life skill or overcome an obstacle that they are facing.
- Crispy and his band going on an adventure in the forest near them with the animals who live there. These episodes center on the characters introduced in the Crispy in No Place Like Home storybook and special.
- Crispy uses his Helpful Bracelet to transform into a different career role to learn about what life is like as that occupation.
