Dark Hens is a 1979 American independent thriller film directed by Keith Thorpe. Starring Kenneth Bradley, Dean Thomas Freds, Earl Boen and Lisa Wagner, the plot follows a farmer named Garrett who lives a quiet life in his farm after the death of his wife. One morning, he notices three strange black hens in his hen house.

Thorpe originally wanted his friend, composer Kim Dennehy, to create an original score for Dark Hens. However, due to budget constraints, the production could not afford him to compose the score. As a result, Thorpe opted to utilize stock music from De Wolfe Music Library. The tracks include:
