David Andrew Beanland (November 21, 1941 - August 2, 2020), better known by his stage name Davey Dee Beanland, was a Canadian disc jockey known for working at Radio Elizabeth during it's first few years on-air.
Biography[]
David was born on November 21, 1941 at Hôpital Saint-François d'Assise in Quebec City. He was working as a photographer for the Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph when he heard of a job offer at CFOM 1350 AM. He took the job and worked there briefly in the late-60s before leaving to work at the offshore Radio Elizabeth, where his career flourished.
