David Gim (born May 2, 1966) is an El Kadsreian songwriter, composer, musician, actor, voice actor, cinematographer, and illustrator. David is relatively infamous for the use of the George Spelvin pseudonym on most movies he is credited in during production, mainly due to how he was bullied a lot as a kid.

David Gim was born on May 2, 1966 to Chinese-El Kadsreian director Sung Gim and Sentanese actor Kassi Saguwa. Gim was bullied a lot in his youth during junior and secondary school, which is why he adopts the George Spelvin pseudonym whenever he is credited in production of various movies, particularly the Technic Heroes films. In a 1995 interview, when he revealed himself as the, "George Spelvin behind the last Hero Factory movie", he claims that he uses the pseudonym to remain private sometimes whenever he feels like his childhood bullies are around him.
