The EKCM M21 stock, also known as the Black-Faced Silver trains, is a type of rolling stock used by the El Kadsre City Metro. The M21s were built by Takusa Railway Equipment on behalf of Commonwealth Engineering and they were introduced in 1982 to replace the aging Red Carrier trains. The M21 is the first single-deck train in El Kadsre City Metro to have air conditioning on passenger saloons and not feature opening windows. Between 1982 and 1990, the total of 645 carriages were built.
