The El Kadsre Emergency Public Alert System is a system used in El Kadsre and it's territories, whereby local or municipal authorities can warn the public about impending or current emergencies affecting their area.
The EKEPWS can be activated by local police, fire, and environmental agencies; by the El Kadsreian Weather Bureau; and by other authorities, as required. It can be activated for any of the following reasons:
- Severe weather
- Flood
- Wildfire
- Hazardous material release
- Terrorist threat
- Water contamination
- AMBER Alert
- Other threats to life, property and safety.
The EKEPWS uses the Standard Emergency Warning Signal, much like Australia.
