  • MR17 movies are generally barred from movie theaters, TV, and streaming services.

Trivia

  • News, sporting events, infomercials, and public affairs programs are usually exempt from EURMS' ratings guidelines.
  • On the Eruowoodian 1990 reissue of Dumbo and Eruowoodian theatrical prints of Back To The Future III, the acronym appears as "EMCS" (Eruowoodian Media Classification System), due to that being the original name and those are the first two movies to be rated.
  • The Ren & Stimpy Show was originally rated 7+, due to parental outrage the show was re-rated PG.
  • MR17 is the least common rating of all, only being carried on "adult" films not in theatres.
  • Due to Mulan 2020's violence being in-between the PG and 13+ ratings, a 10+ rating has been pitched to the EUMRS.
  • Nintendo requested the "Super Mario" series get a GA rating instead of a K.
