Evangeline Margarita Schiavone known professionally as Eva Margarita Jo (born. April 24, 1954) is a Salerian soft rock singer-songwriter, actress, television presenter, voice director, writer, former Storm-Fi VJ, founder of Cool Rhythm Radio and co-host alongside Miro Caballero, Miranda Gilberts and Antonio Chris Estevez of the television music variety show Night at The Stages on N3ON.tv Latin America. She rose to fame as the winner of the first season of Juan Robinson's That's My Rock in 1973. Following her victory, she released her debut single, "Star", which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Subsequently, she released her eponymous debut album (1975) included the Sherbetian Top Charts number-one singles "Yesterday" and "Nothing More Than Love". She rose to mainstream prominence with her folk rock second studio album Ghost in The Life (1979), blended soft rock with folk elements and furthered her crossover success with the top-ten singles "Ocean" and "Wuthering Heights".

Early life and Career beginnings

Evangeline Margarita Schiavone was born in Kinhall, Triebasso on April 24, 1954. to former pianist Anabelle Diana Wright (1929-1980) and singer Nicolai Giuseppe Schiavone (1917-1980). Jo has a sister, Angelina Violeta, a son John Leonardo, and a daughter Elaine Alessandra.
