Father Ted: The American Revolution is a 1997 comedy film based on the Irish-British TV series Father Ted. Directed by Australian music video director Russell Mulcahy and written by Father Ted creators Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews, the film stars Dermot Morgan, Ardal O'Hanlon, Frank Kelly, Pauline McLynn, and Jim Norton as their Father Ted characters with Jim Belushi, Charles Martin Smith, Dana Carvey, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Bruce Willis.

The film was a Irish-British-American venture between Hat Trick Productions and FilmFour and distributed in Europe by StudioCanal and in the United States by 20th Century Fox. The film takes place in-between Series 2 and 3 of the show.
