EKS Personal Unit is a discontinued series of all-in-one and CPU desktop computers created and marketed by EKS. In 1995, it was replaced by ViraPC.

History[]

The first EKS Personal Unit model with CD-ROM was released in 1990.

  • EK-6530 (1979) - First model with a 3½-inch floppy disk drive and last model with a 5¼-inch floppy disk drive.

The computer received positive reviews. It was commercially successful personal computers during late 1980s to early 1990s, along with TheoryDesk, Naisuka PCs and IBM-PC/MS-DOS.
