The Firewood Regional Transport Authority (typically branded as Firewood RTA or The FTA) is a public transportation corporation that services the northern half of New Jersey and the Firewood Metropolitan sector.
The FTA is planning to open up light rail service by early to mid 2026.
History[]
The communities that The FTA serves originally opted out of NJ Transit North coverage in 1981. The FTA was formed in 1981 by Kyle Wilson and the Sussex County Board.
Logo[]
