Frantic Mayhem Royale 2 is an upcoming third-person action-adventure video game. It is a sequel to Red Eagle Games' Frantic Mayhem Royale.
The game is based on a fictional city called Mobriys in 2044 with Austin, Danielle and Saber, the warriors from the first game, in their 20s.
In E3 2018, Bethesda announced FMR 2 as a new title from Singularity Games and Bethesda Game Studios' Montreal and Austin teams. However, around September 2018, Bethesda Game Studios announced to drop out of the project due to creative differences between them and game planner Sandra O'Donald from Singularity Games.
On January 30, 2019, Singularity Games announced that its Red Eagle Games team will take up development duties, with the team from Noda Games (aside from the Sherticks) already merged into SG.
At E3 2019, Frantic Mayhem Royale 2 was revealed as a Xbox Game Pass exclusive, with a Project Scarlett version in works and Xbox Game Studios revealed as the new publisher. The original game's designer Jeremi "Jerwo" Wróblewski was revealed to be part of the game's development team.
