Fuse Special Effects is an French-El Kadsreian special effects company formed in 1995 by the merger of Mechanimation S.A. (founded by Jean-René Auvray and Yannick Rambin) and X-WOW (founded by former CiGiWOW executives and employees). It is based in Eirabourne, El Kadsre and Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France, with a branch in Bangalore, India (Fuse Special Effects India Pvt. Ltd.). He is best known for designing special effects on the 2006 VIVA film XtreMates. It was also responsible for creating the robot Metalman in the 1998 film of the same name, as well as creating SFX in Bionicle: The Next Generation and Nova Orbis 5. Fuse are also a prolific builder of animatronics and mascot costumes, and are the owners of the Mechanimation technology.
