Game Channel is an Australian 24-hour gaming television channel operated under joint venture of Foxtel Networks and The Game Channel Company. Being a version of the namesake television channel in the United States, it only airs gaming programming, including video game news.

The channel also offers a +2 hour timeshifted version.


Game Channel was launched on 16 October 2013, originally broadcasting gameplay only, differing from the other international Game Channel versions. The Australian one mostly focused on Australian gaming videos. On 17 October 2013, a new +2 timeshift version was launched.

It was announced on 2 February 2015, a new programming block was launched called Grand Theft TV, which is dedicated to Grand Theft Auto games' programmes.

Following the success of Grand Theft TV, the channel adopted Minecraft Central and Roblox Rules, which were launched in Australia on 19 August 2015.


The programming is mostly from the American Game Channel, but with additional Australian YouTubers such as Dataless822.
