Gashi II (Grasslandic: Gashi Maichel Beren; born 7th June 1945) is the King of Grassland, having ascended the throne on 6th February 1969, following his father's death. He is the eldest child of King Gashi I. He married Olivia Alera (now Princess Olivia), with whom he has four children. King Gashi II's elder daughter, Mary II, is first in the line of succession.
Early life
Gashi was born at 10:13 (GMT) on 7th June 1945, during the reign of his father, King Gashi I. His mother, the Duchess of Grassland City. He was baptised in the private chapel of Grassland City Palace on 17 May, and named Gashi after his father, Maichel after Mary's father, who had died 4 months earlier.
He was taught in a private school in Grassland City Palace.
Coronation
In December of 1968 Gashi I caught cancer and later that same month Mary Duchess of Grassland City died. On the 5th February 1969 at 22:00 Gashi I died and later the next day Gashi II found out. He was coronated 2 hours later.
