Geography Explained Incorrectly is a Wilsonian comedy/educational series narrated by Agnesian geologist Bryse Morrison and directed by American production company Blue Light Studios. The series explains information about countries with occasional twists and turns. It debuted on Cirrus on April 5, 2005 before ending on October 22, 2018. The show is loosely based on Geography Explained in the Wrong Way, a similar series that made its debut in the Yurusirsk Union in 1996.

Plot[]

The episode, which spans around twenty-two minutes in length (excluding commercials), starts with a country moving on the bottom of the viewer's screen; during this, brick sounds can be heard in the background.

A few seconds after the opening, the brick noises stop, and then the narrator introduces the country and explains its geography, landscape and culture. While the information is being given out, once every two or three minutes, visual and aural effects are displayed; this includes, but are not limited to: excluding pieces of the country's area, static or weak signals, random images popping up, and fictitious channel surfing.

At the eighteen minute mark of the episode, the effects stop, and the narrator gives out a questionnaire on information based around the country, with a seven second interval between the question popping up and the answer being revealed.

Continuity[]

In the Republic of Wilson, the series debuted on the Cirrus channel and ran on the network from April 5, 2005 until early July 2017, where it was pushed to G4. The series continued there until it was cancelled on October 22, 2018. Reruns began on the network until September 30, 2023. The entire series is currently available on Ledger NOW and is free to view on Rocket Cable's on demand service. It has also aired on scattered airslots on The Education Network from January 2014 to early 2015, and on Noggin since mid-2022. The show is also alleged to have made small appearances on the Kids' WB and Forever Kids over the years.
