In 1993, the first six episodes of Good Advice aired in El Kadsre on Banushen Television as a spring replacement filter for Clarissa Explains It All. It aired again in the summer of 1994, this time containing the remaining 13 episodes, as a replacement for Getting By, until it was replaced in the timeslot by Friends. Reviewer Mark Gray described the second season as "what Mad About You did to inside, as Good Advice did to outside", because both Mad About You and Good Advice are made by the same producers (Danny Jacobson and TriStar).
