Grigory Andreyevich Yarovistin (Russian: Григорий Андреевич Яровистин, romanized: Grigoriy Andreyevich Yarovistin; 10 May 1887, Kursk, Russian Empire — 19 November 1946, Moscow, Soviet Union) is a Russian military officers, nationalist politician, leader of the Istavinist Russia (Russian State) during World War II from 1941 to 1944. He served as the general of the Imperial Russian Army, commander of the White Army during the Russian Civil War from 1918 to 1922, founder and leader of the Istavina Party founded in 1928 to the dissolution in 1944, Vozhd (Leader) and President of the Istavinist Russia from 1941 to 1944 and the Chairman of the Government of National Unity of Russia from 1944 to 1945.

Biography[]

Early years[]

Yarovistin was born on 10 May 1887 in Kursk, Russian Empire, a city that aptly represented the complexities of the pre-revolution in Russia. When he younger, Yarovistin had displayed a keen interest in military affairs and like many other of his contemporaries, sought a carrier in the armed forces. Enrolling in military academies, he rapidly ascended the ranks of the Imperial Russian Army. After the October Revolution in 1918, Yarovistin then aligned White Army during the Russian Civil War in 1918 to 1922. Then after the Red Army defeated the White Army in 1922, he later fled in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia

Leader of the Istavina Party and the Istavinist Russia[]

In the early 1920s, he founded the Istavina Party, a far-right political party that combined anti-Bolshevism with distinctly nationalist and fascist. It's ideology was characterized by vehement anti-Semitism and strong opposition to Western powers-particularly Britain and the United States.
