Helixware Ltd. is a video game company established in 1992 as a division of Sega El Kadsre Ltd.. It was headed by Mike Kukiski, who was formerly programming games for the NES. Its main focus was developing games for Sega consoles. Its first title was a rail shooter Flightcon for Sega Genesis. Earlier games created by the company used the GEMS sound driver, later Genesis titles adapted its own sound driver with Acura Surround support.
As of recent, Helixware develops licensed titles for Sega and THQ Nordic.
