The Holiday Neo Geo Pocket Color came in optional green or red colors and sold for $89.99, exclusively at Toys "R" Us along with Target (USA) and Zellers (Canada) stores and even inside the Sears Wish Book. Included in each package was a free copy of Tales of the Nutcracker.
In addition, with a coupon on specially-marked packages of Nabisco/Christie cookies (particularly Chips Ahoy!) and Ritz Crackers, a purchase of the console would entitle the consumer to a free second Neo Geo Pocket Color title:
