Inanimation is an American animated object fiction web television series created by Drew Wally for WatchMS. The series is about anthropomorphic, inanimate objects in a city called Inanimation.

The series' first season was released on January 11, 2016. The series became very popular, and a second season was released on March 17, 2020.

A third season was released March 6, 2020, which featured more recurring characters, followed by a fourth season released on March 22, 2019. The fourth season would also be the final season to have music composed by Victor Cemel; despite this, his theme was kept, and Cemel was replaced by John Aury.

During the production of season 5, executive producer Doug Donald was removed from production following his homophobic tweets and was replaced by writer Nolan Sky.


In the fictional city of Inanimation, which is run by a paper clip named Clippy, lives anthropomorphic, inanimate objects.


Drew Wally had been working on the development of Inanimation since 2012, when he was still writing Objectia 2. He wanted to make "an object cartoon centered around everyday city life".

Frequently appearing characters include Clippy (Michael Guo), Drummy (Nick Dole), Brickius (Johnson Avey), Neon (Hannah Lenny), Glassy (Jennifer Bradley), and Bagton (Juilan Ires).
