Irlein Ackney (15th February, 1995-26th July, 2015) was a Kuboian rapper, singer and television personality. She rose to fame after winning the fourth and final series of Nick Karaoke Stars in 2005. Before her musical career, she had appeared as an actress in some television advertisments from the age of six.
On 26th July, 2015, Irlein was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting whilst on her way to a concert, at the age of 20 years old. In April 2018, two men of an Anti-Kuboian cult were sentenced life imprisonment for her murder. Irlein is the third Nick Karaoke Stars contestant to die, and the fifth associate of TVVC's 2000s pop culture to die.
