It is one of the best-selling children's books of all time, as over 400 copies were sold in December of 1981 and at the start of 1984, over 337 billion copies were sold. The television series however wasn’t as popular as the books were.

On the run from the Vloks, Jamie, a young prince from the planet Blarb, escapes to Earth. Disguised as a human boy, he must remain incognito. Erwin, Jamie’s friend spends most of his time covering for Jamie’s intergalactic blunders. The evil aliens have dispatched a robot and a mutant cow to Earth to capture Jamie.

The Jamie's got Tentacles book series was so popular, it almost destroyed the entire Vlokozu Union's media industry.
