JimJam is a Canadian English-language specialty channel that was launched on November 18, 2007. It is wholly owned by Corus Entertainment under a brand licensing agreement with AMC Networks International.

History

In August 2005, Corus Entertainment was given approval by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to launch a specialty channel named "Treehouse Two", described as "a companion channel to the established Treehouse TV network and brand, broadcasting a variety of preschool & young peoples' programming from international & Canadian sources."

On November 18, 2007, Corus, in cooperation with HIT Entertainment and Chellomedia, launched JimJam on KTY, Vidéotron and Rogers Cable using the Treehouse Two license.
