Kasumi Kobayashi (Japanese: 小林 霞, Hepburn: Kobayashi Kasumi) is a Culver City-based Japanese film producer, musician and studio executive. Mother of voice actress Yumiko Kobayashi, she is the co-founder of film and television production company Pocky Prunce Productions, along with Hiroshi Yajima.
Bio
Kobayashi was born on July 2, 1958 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
In 1982, after bidding farewell to her daughter Yumiko and her husband, Kobayashi went to Culver City, California, only to meet Hiroshi Yajima, who also came from Japan. Then they went on to found their own company Pocky Prunce Productions a year later.
