Launchpad was a Norwegian-American dance music project composed of Norwegian musicians Torbjörn Henriksen and Kyrre Giæver and American vocalist Aimee Hixson.

Launchpad began in 1997 after Torbjörn Henriksen and Kyrre Giæver met Aimee Hixson at a burlesque joint in Kongsvinger. The group was formed soon afterward, recording their first album in the Faroe Islands.

The band's career was cut short after just 7 years in 2004 with Kyrre's AIDS diagnosis and eventual death.
